Donate to CWB on Your Mobile Phone!

June 12, 2012

CWB can now accept donations via mobile devices! This means you, or anyone you know who owns a mobile device, can make a one-time $5.00 donation to support The Center for Wooden Boats simply by sending a text message to the number 20222 with the word BOAT in the message field.

How to make a $5 mobile donation:
1. Compose a new text message to 20222
2. Insert BOAT as the message and hit send
3. Reply “YES” to the confirmation text message
4. $5.00 will be charged to your next phone bill

How will my donation be used by CWB?

The Center for Wooden Boats will receive around $4.60 from your $5 donation, all of which will be put to use to keep our boats afloat and to continue to offer programs such as our free Sunday boat rides and our annual Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival.

How often can I donate?
You may donate up to six times per month! You may follow the prompts after texting BOAT to the number 20222 to donate multiple times.
