MOHAI Boat Tour of Elliott Bay

August 20, 2010

Elliott Bay

Join MOHAI historian, Lorraine McConaghy, for a cruise through time on Elliott Bay. We begin by exploring Native Seattle and the Little Crossing Over Place, and the Hudson’s Bay Company’s tentative plans to build a trading post and fort in Seattle. We’ll look at the settlement sites of the first two groups of Seattle, and then journey across the bay to the foot of today’s Yesler Way. Using the city and the bay as our focus, we’ll review the history of our present-day world class city. Bring binoculars, if you have them!

Cash bar provided on board.  Tickets are $25 for MOHAI members and $30 for general admission.
